KANAWHA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

 ALUMNUS OF THE YEAR GUIDELINES

 

1.  One has to be an alumnus and member of the Kanawha Alumni Association.

 

2.  One has to be a person that has contributed time, energy, and effort to the Kanawha

 

      Alumni Association and to the community.

 

3.  Each year a male and a female will be chosen to be the Alumnus of the year.

 

4.  The Alumnus of the year will be chosen by a committee of former Alumnus of the

 

      year recipients.

KANAWHA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

HONORARY MEMBER GUIDELINES

1.  One must come to a meeting or send a written request stating the reason or interest  to become an honorary member.

2.  One must be willing to come and take the oath at the annual gathering.

 

3.  One must have been a member of a graduating class or have done previous work for

 

      the good of the organization.

 

4.  Teachers and spouses that work at the Burnsville Elementary School will be give the

  

      opportunity to become honorary members.

 

5.  People that have made major contributions of time, energy, and effort could be asked

 

     to become honorary members.

 

6.  Honorary members cannot hold an office.

 

7.  Honorary membership does not count as ancestral lineage towards the scholarship

 guidelines or point system.
